The repercussions of the Corona pandemic exacerbated pressure on the global auto industry, and in Brazil, the American Ford company decided to close all its factories, more than a hundred years after the start of production. However, the company kept production in Argentina and Uruguay, while in Brazil it settled for the center of operations for the Latin continent.
