Projects in the Atlantic Forest are irritating environmentalists

The construction of a land port for logistics services and the expansion of a railway on the remaining stretches of the Atlantic forests in Brazil, is sparking widespread controversy and protest movements by environmental advocates. The Atlantic forests have lost, due to deforestation, about 85% of their area, including endangered plants and animals, which has made preserving what remains of them a difficult task for environmental advocates.
