Scrap collecting in Brazil is a social phenomenon that is gaining attention


The number of scrap collectors in Brazil is about 800 thousand people. They have become a societal phenomenon that has its own culture and contributes to the collection of recyclable materials. The percentage of scrap materials they collect is about 90% of the total recycled materials in the country, which encouraged interest in them and an attempt to develop their work.
